These earrings have French flower lace dangling from iridescent Opals. We repurposed a 1970s French flower lace trim and solidified it rose gold.

The lace flowers mirror each other and frame the face. We selected precious AAAA Opals for these earrings. The Opal is the traditional birthstone for October and associated with hope and confidence. The Romans called it the Cupid stone and believed it to promote romance and passion. The name opal is said to be derived from the Sanskrit word “upala”, which means 'jewel'.
